What We Do

Each of our programs are tailored to the individual needs of the student. We offer a variety of programs to help students reach their full potential.

Reading Intervention

Our reading program is designed to help students, with or without a learning disability such as dyslexia, who are struggling with reading comprehension. We use multisensory techniques, such as the Orton-Gillingham Approach, and Wilson Fundations, to help students improve their reading skills.

Math Intervention

Our math program offers personalized support using teaching methods tailored to each student's needs. After an initial assessment, we set customized goals targeting areas for growth. Our tutors create engaging, fun environments that make math interesting, and frequent progress monitoring ensures steady improvement and confidence-building.

Kindergarten Readiness

Our Kindergarten Readiness program is designed to help children develop the skills they need to succeed in kindergarten. We focus on building a strong foundation in literacy, math, and social skills.

Primary ISEE Prep

Our Primary ISEE program is designed to help students prepare for the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) grades 2-4. We use individual instruction, and practice tests to help students improve their test-taking skills and build confidence.

Common Questions

Here are some of the most common questions we get asked. If you have a question that isn't answered here, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Do you offer in person or online tutoring?
We offer both in-person and online tutoring options to accommodate the preferences and needs of our students and their families. Our online tutoring platform is designed to provide the same quality of instruction and support as our in-person sessions.
How long are the tutoring sessions?
Our tutoring sessions are structured to maximize effectiveness and engagement. Each session spans a total of one hour, carefully divided to ensure comprehensive support. During the initial 45 minutes, students receive focused academic tutoring tailored to their needs and goals. The remaining 15 minutes are dedicated to fostering strong parent engagement and collaboration. In this time, tutors provide detailed session reviews and invite parent input, fostering a transparent and supportive partnership. Additionally, tutors document each session, offering insightful feedback and summarizing the progress made toward the student's academic objectives.
How do you track progress?
We employ various tools and methods to track each student's progress over time, including regular assessments, feedback from tutors, and communication with parents and teachers. This allows us to monitor academic growth, identify areas for improvement, and adjust our tutoring approach as needed.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule a tutoring session?
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we strive to accommodate our clients' scheduling needs to the best of our ability. If you need to cancel or reschedule a tutoring session, please notify us 24 hours in advance, and we will work with you to find an alternative time that suits your schedule.
How long will it take until I can expect to see progress?
The time it takes to see progress can vary depending on several factors, including the student's starting point, the subject matter, and the frequency of tutoring sessions. Typically, we begin to observe improvements within a few sessions. However, the pace of progress may differ for each student.
How do you assess a child’s academic needs?
We conduct a comprehensive assessment of each child's academic needs through various methods, including one-on-one consultations, diagnostic tests, and discussions with parents, guardians, and educators. This helps us gain a thorough understanding of the student's strengths, weaknesses, learning style, and goals.
Do you have experience in supporting students with specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, etc.?
Yes, our tutors have extensive experience in supporting students with a wide range of learning disabilities, including dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and others. We tailor our tutoring approach to accommodate the unique needs of each student, providing personalized support and strategies to help them succeed.
Are your tutoring sessions adaptable to accommodate specific accommodations outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans?
Absolutely. We understand the importance of adhering to students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans, and our tutoring sessions are fully adaptable to accommodate specific accommodations outlined in these plans. We work closely with parents, guardians, and educators to ensure that each student receives the support they need to thrive academically.
